This FREE workshop is an introduction to MXR, an exciting new real-time 3D tool for VJs and visual creators! MXR founder Eric Wagliardo will guide attendees through getting started with this powerful new creation tool. Learn more about MXR below and RSVP to secure a spot!
MXR empowers creators with a no-code, real-time 3D environment fueled by live data inputs—no scripting required. Simply drag & drop 3D models, effects, lights, and shaders into the viewport, then use intuitive node-based controls (like LFOs, MIDI, OSC, DMX, or audio analysis) to animate elements dynamically. Whether you're building immersive visuals for a concert, festival, LED wall, XR experience, or virtual production scene, MXR delivers Hollywood-grade VFX at high frame rates, optimized for responsive live performance.
With integrated tools—including Spout, PTZ camera automation, and GenAI workflows—MXR is an all-in-one visual engine. It supports standard 3D formats (OBJ, FBX, GLTF), offers AI-powered features like Stable Diffusion and simplifies live control for interactive experiences . Whether you're a seasoned VJ, visual designer, or emerging creator, MXR streamlines the creative process—letting you focus on storytelling, not code.
Eric Wagliardo is a multi-disciplinary artist and founder of MXR and &Pull. As a professional dreamer, his work spans 20+ years working with a wide range of artists like Barry Can’t Swim, Childish Gambino, Anyma, Gorillaz, and Flume. He’s also led projects with brands and tech companies like Google and Stella Artois. MXR recently powered 30+ hours of real-time content on the Quasar stage and an XR showcase at Mutek Japan that blended projection mapping and Magic Leap headsets.
